Virgin Galactic’s Unity 22 flew into space on July 11,2021 which is Sir Richard Branson’s lifelong dream. The crewed flight was successfully delivered to its destination by sub-orbital space flight, proving the possibility of space tourism true.

The flight,  piloted by David Mackay and co-piloted by Michael Masucci, with four passengers on board, including Branson and Indian-American Sirisha Bandla, who is from AP.

The launch of the space flight was live streamed on YouTube. Sirisha Bandla became the second Indian-born woman to fly pace and the fourth Indian to reach space.

The position of Researcher Experience was assigned to Sirisha Bandla as the no.004 astronaut. As soon as the news announcing the success of Unity 22 came by, Tweets praising her started to flow.
