As the number of covid cases has dropped , the partial curfew has almost ended with limited restrictions in Visakhapatnam district.

Some of the tourist places in and around Visakhapatnam are reopened to visitors following Covid-19 protocol. Borra caves, all the beaches and the boating activities are resumed after two months of gap.

APTDC Divisional Manager,T.G. Prasad Reddy stated that they are following all the safety protocols of Covid-19 by arranging sanitizers and maintaining physical distance.

Kailasagiri, Tenneti Park, Ropeway, Kursura submarine museum and TU-142 aircraft museums which are run by Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) are yet to be reopened. The authorities are still thinking on the decision to reopen them.
